Three-Dimensional Composite Drainage Network

The three-dimensional composite drainage network is an advanced geosynthetic material designed for efficient drainage and foundation reinforcement. Its core consists of a 3D geonet made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), featuring thick vertical ribs and inclined ribs at the top and bottom. This structure enables rapid drainage of surrounding water, such as beneath roads or other infrastructure.

On both sides of the geonet core, needle-punched nonwoven geotextiles are laminated, forming a composite with three layers. The geotextiles can be made from needle-punched PET or PP nonwoven fabric, or thermally bonded continuous filament nonwoven geotextile, providing excellent filtration and separation properties.

The system includes a pore maintenance mechanism that effectively blocks capillary water under high loads, preventing water accumulation while maintaining drainage. Additionally, this composite material serves as an isolation layer and reinforces the foundation, improving overall soil stability and structural performance.
