Uniaxially Stretched Geogrid for Soil Reinforcement

Uniaxially stretched geogrid is a high-strength geosynthetic material made from high molecular weight polymers, such as HDPE or PP, with added anti-UV and anti-aging stabilizers. The material is first extruded into flat sheets, then punched into a regular pattern of openings. Through uniaxial stretching in the longitudinal direction, the polymer chains are reoriented to form a grid structure with significantly enhanced tensile strength along one axis.

This process results in a geogrid that offers excellent reinforcement performance, ideal for applications such as retaining walls, embankments, steep slopes, and landfill foundations.
