PP Biaxial Geogrids are manufactured from high-quality polypropylene (PP) and feature square-shaped apertures, high tensile strength, and an optimized node-and-rib geometry, making them comparable to any leading geogrid products in the market.
The primary reinforcement mechanism of PP Biaxial Geogrids is their ability to confine soil and enhance shear resistance through a strong interlocking effect between the soil and the geogrid ribs. This effective load distribution significantly improves ground stability and allows for a reduction in sub-base thickness, thereby lowering overall construction costs.
These geogrids are compatible with a wide range of mechanical fill materials and are available in two aperture size ranges to better suit different project requirements.
