Steel Plastic Composite Geogrid is manufactured by embedding high-strength steel wires-specially treated for enhanced durability-into polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) strips through an extrusion process. These composite tensile strips are then woven together in both warp and weft directions to form a biaxial grid structure with extremely high tensile strength and modulus under pre-tension conditions.

The interlocking structure formed by the vertical and horizontal ribs effectively enhances the soil confinement, improving load distribution and preventing lateral displacement. During production, the geogrid surface is treated with a rough embossing pattern, increasing its surface friction and improving bonding with the soil for enhanced stability.

This geogrid exhibits excellent resistance to acids and a wide range of chemical agents, making it highly suitable for demanding geotechnical applications such as road construction, embankment reinforcement, retaining walls, and landfill foundations.
