Polyester Warp-Knitted Geogrid is a high-performance geosynthetic material made from high-strength polyester industrial yarns or fibers. Through a warp knitting process, the yarns are oriented into a stable grid-like mesh structure, which is then treated with a PVC coating for added durability and resistance to environmental factors. Because of its high tensile strength and flexible yet strong nature, it is often referred to as "fiber soft steel."
Also known as PET geogrid or warp-knitted geogrid, this material is widely used for soil reinforcement in roadbeds, embankments, slopes, and retaining structures. It features a directional warp-knitted structure in which the warp and weft yarns are straight and not bent, and the intersection points are firmly bonded with high-strength filaments. This creates strong bonding nodes that allow the geogrid to fully realize its mechanical potential-particularly in terms of tensile strength, load transfer, and soil confinement.
