The dimple drain board is manufactured from 100% virgin high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using a foundation extrusion or blow molding process. During production, the HDPE geomembrane is thermoformed to create a series of closed, cone-shaped dimples (frustums), which form a regular three-dimensional drainage structure.

These dimples provide the board with excellent compressive strength and create a drainage channel between the structure and soil, allowing water and gas to flow freely and be discharged efficiently. The result is an integrated drainage and protection layer that helps prevent water accumulation, reduces hydrostatic pressure on structures, and protects waterproofing systems.
