A geomembrane may sound like a medical experiment gone wrong, but its uses and applications are both varied and fascinating. Geomembranes are synthetic membrane liners or barriers used to control fluid migration in a manmade project, structure, or system. They are made from relatively thin continuous polymeric sheets that are sometimes made from the infusion of geotextiles with asphalt, elastomer, or polymer sprays. This means that their applications to geotechnical engineering and other industrial clients are endless.
Geomembranes are being used in environmental, hydraulic, transportation, and oil and gas applications as well as the waste industry. The most common type are the continuous polymeric sheets. When larger geomembranes are needed, they are thermally or chemically melted together at the seams for strength and durability. The size of the geomembrane is completely customizable, so they are can be as small as a backyard fish pond or as large as a football field if necessary.

Pond liner geomembrane is a kind of smooth, high quality HDPE geomembrane liner, which is made of specially formulated original polyethylene resin. This raw material is specially designed for flexible geomembrane applications. The pond liner plastic sheeting contains about 97.5% polyethylene, 2.5% carbon black and traces of antioxidants and heat stabilizers. It does not use other additives, fillers or extenders. The HDPE geomembrane pond liner plastic sheeting has excellent chemical resistance, mechanical properties, environmental stress crack resistance, dimensional stability and thermal aging characteristics. In addition, HDPE geomembrane liner has puncture resistance and tear resistance that are unmatched by other geotechnical products on the market. The HDPE geomembrane pond liner plastic sheeting has the following advantages.
(1)The geomembrane pond liner can improve the efficiency of salvage. By using HDPE liners, the algae and sludge in the fish pond can be isolated to purify the salvage environment and improve the efficiency of salvage.
(2)The HDPE geomembrane pond liner has can reduce the chance of fish getting sick. The anti-seepage function of the commercial pond liners are particularly good which can block the heavy metal in the fish pond, purify the water environment, and reduce the chance of fish sickness from the ring.
(3)The HDPE geomembrane pond liner can reduce the maintenance cost of fish ponds. The HDPE liners can be used in clean water for 20-30 years, thus reducing the maintenance cost of the fish pond.
